Most athletes recognize that they need to train to improve, but struggle identifying where to focus their attention in terms of strength, speed, or mobility. To address these concerns, our team can evaluate an individual’s athleticism through a dedicated power screen. Athletic power represents the individual’s ability to generate and transfer energy through movement over time. Thus, our power screen investigates the athlete’s main power production centers including the upper body, core, and lower body. The athlete performs a series of tests where his/her results correspond to a unique power grade. As athletic power is a function of both speed and strength, an additional series of assessments are performed to determine the root cause of any power deficiencies. In this fashion, athletes can understand their capabilities and weakness and identify how to most efficiently improve their baseline power production.
